DETOURS AHEAD!!

It is good to be detoured when you are still are able to arrive at your destination in time.  In my experience that is not often the case as diverted traffic takes a lot longer to arrive from point A to point B.  The reason for the delay is sometimes because there are obstacles (road works) in the way or maybe even temporary traffic lights causing delay.  

When you are delayed some people will choose to get off the route completely (abandon destiny), some people will choose a different route than the divert (own way), and some people will stay put and observe the signposts to get to their destination.

In life, there are going to be detours, obstacles, prevention and delay.  You get to choose whether you will get off , go your own way or follow the signpost even if it takes longer.  We cannot see things that are ahead fully, only God knows the end from the beginning but we can choose to trust Him.

The diversion could be part of the process in the purpose that God is working out.  Joseph's promise included many detours that were stepping stones to his destiny. Eventually, he declares God's Sovereignty in Genesis 50:20 "But as for you, you thought evil against me; But God  meant it unto good, to bring to pass as it is this day to save much people alive".

There is purpose in process and also a process in the purpose.  Ultimately, God is in control.  He has a plan.  Even if it seems to go off course follow the curves, leaps and flows as He has purposed you.
